Eddie Liaszenik was never really into cars. One day, he just happened to see a Mitsubishi 3000GT at a nearby beach and became instantly enthralled. As soon as he was in the military, he purchased three of them — you could say he was hooked. Since then, he’s traded up to this incredible NISMO edition 2012 Nissan 370Z and is currently in the process of taking it to the next level.
Obviously, the first thing anyone notices is the way this car looks. As soon as he picked this car up, Eddie began working from the outside in, beginning with the cosmetics. The 2012 NISMO exterior was upgraded with a ’15 NISMO front and rear bumper. Incredibly sexy FLY1Motorsports RS1 vented fenders were added as well as a VIS AMS carbon fiber hood and when combined with the AMUSE carbon fiber wing and Seibon a-pillars, the car became exotic in form and fashion.
One of the items he’s most proud of are the ONeighty headlights with incredible HALOs as well as the custom DRL mod he’s worked up which combines a mixture of amber and white LEDs.
This Z wasn’t always the blinding pearlescent orange you see here. In fact, after getting a modicum of modifications on the car, Eddie began to get a little bored. Although he contemplated moving on to an R35, the thought of seeing someone else in his car prompted him to take a visit to Shane Oliberos at XERO Graphics for an amazing wrap job. Thanks to this wrap and the exterior mods, his car is now absolutely tantalizing to look at.
The engine hasn’t been heavily upgraded, but features the standard bolt-ons including a Z1 upper intake manifold as well as Stillen GEN 3 intakes. Fast Intentions exhaust cans are visible from the rear and are connected to Berk high flow cats. Other performance mods make up the build, but Eddie has future plans to turbo the ride for serious power.
The interior has been upgraded to 2015 NISMO spec (including those sweet Recaros) along with carbon fiber components made by EVO R. Takata Drift II harnesses help to hold him in place while a nicely weighted TWM M1 Abrams black pearl shift knob fits perfectly in his hands.
The suspension has been upgraded with Ksport Kontrol Pro coilovers and a SPL front and rear camber kit with Z1 slotted rotors. NISMO edition wheels are wrapped with Dunlop rubber all around to finish off the exterior look.
Eddie likes to keep his message straightforward when it comes to this ride. “I didn’t build this car for a show. I built this car so that I enjoy it. It’s my daily driver and I love driving it,” says Eddie. That works for me.
