Destiny MMA is getting “Unleashed” April 28 at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace for a “rain or shine” mixed martial arts event.
Toby “2 Quick” Misech and Edward Matsuura are the main event for the night, and Joshua Montoya of New Mexico is going head to head with Hawaii’s own Russell Doane.
Also featured are women’s matches that pit Bryanna Fissori against Christy Tada and Kari Lightenwalner against Rachel Ostovich.
There is a 145-pound amateur tourney consisting of two, three-minute rounds. Elijah Manners, Colin Mackenzie, Kawika Martin, Josh Argel, Mark Tupas, Joeseph Yampierre and Ricky Plunkett will participate.
If that’s not enough action, Kaleo “Lights Out” Kwan, Ben “Da King” Santiago, Justin Konia, Kevin Aguigui, Ryne Yoshimura, Zach Close, Julio Moreno, Brandon Mina, Koa Ramelb, Derek Mahi, Ryan Delacruz, Anthony Rivera and more will take on opponents in the cage.
