Photography Exhibition Submissions
The ninth annual Survey Exhibition of Contemporary Photography in Hawai‘i 2017 is accepting submissions until today. Open to all artists using photographic processes: analog or digital, color or B&W, alternative processes and mixed media explorations. Hawaii residents (amateurs and professionals) are welcome to submit digital files of original works that have been created within the past two years and have not been previously exhibited. Neko Cafe
For Love-A-Cat month, Mori by Art + Flea, Morning Glass, and Hawaiian Humane are joining forces again to bring the second Neko Cat Cafe of 2017 to Ward Village. Event starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. Neko Cafe will be at the former Brue Bar and Wedding Cafe located at 1050 Ala Moana Blvd., Suite 1650. Special releases of all things cat related will be on sale by local vendors including Antidee, Boz Schurr, Green Tea Leaves Jewelry, Kawaii Mono, Noreen Watanabe, Lei Tada, Erimon’s Workshop, Mistprint and Super Art Squad.
