Three local fighters went to Singapore to take part in UFC Fight Night 34. Each fighter increased his record, with two taking home an extra $50,000 bonus. Russell Doane, who made his UFC debut, defeated Leandro Issa by triangle choke, increasing his record to 13-3. Max Holloway defeated Will Chope with a second-round TKO victory. Holloway’s record increased to 8-3. Doane and Holloway received a $50,000 bonus for Submission of the Night and Knockout of the Night, respectively. Dustin Kimura defeated Jon Delos Reyes by submission in round one and improved his record to 12-1 … Look for 808 Top Team fighter Louis Smolka, who makes his UFC debut Jan. 15 at Fight Night 35.
